Above you can see a Vine I made on our way to the Colonial Cottage for the first time.
During our first visit to the cottage we
were only able to see the outside and look through the gardens. We instantly
felt the gardens were very homely, and extremely traditional. They almost had a
farm like feel to them; you didn’t feel as if you were in the middle of New Zealand’s
capital city. Yet in saying that if you
looked beyond the gardens you could see high-rise apartments being built next
door – there was a huge juxtaposition.
As a group we decided that we would come back on monday morning to film, we thought that mid-morning light would be best on camera and would look nice filtering through the trees.
